2024 IM L7 in-depth Walkaround

The new IM L7 introduces the formidable Nvidia Orin X chip, resulting in an impressive nearly eightfold increase in computational power. Notably, the front surround-view cameras now boast an enhanced pixel count, soaring from 5 million to 8 million. The addition of a laser radar further elevates the vehicle's capabilities, enabling the IM L7 to incorporate Navigate on Autopilot (NOA) functionality. Presently, the IM Intelligent Driving NOA system is accessible in Mainland China, specifically deployed in key urban areas of Shanghai. Plans for the expansion of this advanced driving system to cover the entire nation are underway, with implementation anticipated later this year.

In terms of interior features, the 2024 IM L7 presents a sophisticated leather-wrapped center console equipped with 50W wireless charging. Physical window controls and electric leg support in both front and rear seats contribute to a comfortable and user-friendly driving experience. Noteworthy improvements include rear seats that are 30 mm larger, providing passengers with over 1 meter of legroom.

The 2024 IM L7 doesn't just excel in technology but also in performance. The dual-motor version features a front motor with a maximum power of 175 kW and a maximum torque of 250 Nm, complemented by a rear motor with a maximum power of 250 kW and a maximum torque of 175 Nm. This dynamic combination allows the vehicle to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in an impressive 3.87 seconds.
