EE has released a 1.6Gbit home internet package called the ‘Busiest home bundle.’ This is the fastest widely available domestic broadband connection in the UK. EE promises a blistering download speed of 1.6Gbps. Internet speeds and rock-solid reliability are all powered by BT's expertise, reliability, and engineering.
I have moved to an area where this product is available and subscribed to this full fibre package from EE. Before signing up for this, I'll review what you need to look for. I will go through the installation and run some speed tests. You need to be aware of some pitfalls and limitations, but overall, I concluded that this is an excellent product—well done, EE and BT!
The ethernet ports on the Smart Home Hub are limited to 1 Gbit, and the hybrid connect, should you wish to subscribe to it, is capped at 30 Mbit download speeds.
Update 21st October 2024 - EE have released their Smart Hub Pro which is a Wi-Fi 7 based router with 2.5 Gbit ethernet ports. I have reviewed this new router - please have at look at [ Ссылка ]
