Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar, presumed dead in September after an Israeli strike, is reportedly alive and in contact with Qatar through senior Hamas figure Khalil al-Hayah. Israeli authorities previously believed Sinwar died in the September 21 strikes in Gaza, which killed 22 people.
