After delivery to the Porsche agent and distributor in May of 1989, this Porsche was sold to the first owner on June 22nd, 1989. Little else is know until the car was sold and exported to a private museum collector in Japan.
The car remained there from 1992 until our purchase earlier this year. After arrival, the car was immediately sent to Wayne Baker’s Personalized AutoHaus for complete and total services and safety checks. A crack was noted in the muffler and a new correction DANSK muffler was then sourced and installed.
During the service and safety checks, a compression and leak down test was performed, all six cylinders were exactly at 140 psi each. Leak dow test indicated all cylinders were at 9 to 10% indicating an extremely healthy and well cared for engine. Additionally no leaks were noted, but it was observed and checked that the car was subject at some point to a complete repaint in the original colors.
The recent services and safety checks performed by Wayne Baker’s Personalized AutoHaus totaled $3,845.96.
Examination of the original Porsche internal assembly records and a direct inspection of the vehicle confirmed it to be all matching numbers. Additionally after several test drives, Personalized AutoHaus noted the it was a fantastic driving and performing vehicle, something I can confirm after having it out on the road numerous times during my photo and video inspections.
Please contact me if I can assist further with the auction of this very special Porsche.
Kind regards always,
