This is my 'two bowls' method of creating a ceramic shell for the lost wax process of bronze casting. Here I am casting my Shark and Coral Reef Sculpture.
This method is ideal for those wishing to cast smallish bronzes of up to about 40cm, and who do not cast often enough to invest in the equipment required to maintain large batches of slurry in a suspended state.
It is a very economic method only requiring you to make up enough slurry for each individual shell.
