Sutter Health facing a $155,000 fine after an investigation by Cal OSHA into the death of 59-year-old Janine Paiste-Ponder in July 2020, from COVID-19. Stephanie Roberson, director of California Nurses Association, says there's been more than thousands of health care workers who have tested positive, and adds "We've lost a lot of members due to this pandemic and it is directly related to the lack of personal protection equipment and the hospital's failure to notify nurses and other health care workers of these exposures."
