The Sala dello Stabat Mater, is a large lecture hall, in the Archiginnasio of Bologna Italy. It is known as "Sala dello Stabat Mater" in memory of the first performance of Rossini's Stabat Mater, directed by Gaetano Donazetti, on March 18, 1842. In the same space, Albert Einstein held three conferences in October 1921. Majestically decorated with various gratulatory compositions and coats of arms, it now serves as a lecture hall in the law school.
