4K Drone footage from Grand-Popo, Benin. Grand-Popo is a small fisher village, arrondissement, and commune in the Mono Department of south-western Benin.
Villa Karo, a Finnish-African culture center and artist residence, is located in Grand-Popo. Villa Karo's purpose is to build a bridge between Finnish and African artists and cultural figures. The primary task is to offer a possibility to reside in Africa for Finnish artists, researchers, teachers and other professionals in cultural and social fields.
Shot during my stay in Villa Karo in 12/2021 - 1/2022.
