트럼프, 시진핑과 취임 후 첫통화…하나의 중국 존중
U.S. President Donald Trump has agreed to honor the "One China" policy, after his remarks questioning the longstanding policy escalated diplomatic tensions between them.
According to the White House,... Trump spoke with President Xi Jinping of China on the phone Thursday evening, U.S. local time.
It was their first phone call since Trump's inauguration.
Xi reportedly expressed his willingness to engage in mutual cooperative relations, and Trump was said to have acknowledged the importance of the U.S.-China relationship.
The two leaders also invited each other to visit their respective countries.
