The brothers Oliver, Alex and Mark Samwer copy pasted Business Ideas from US Startups to Germany. These brothers from Germany in 1999 created Alando, a German eBay clone which instantly became a success. It was purchased by eBay in less than 100 days of its launch for $43 million. In 2005, the brothers copied Facebook and created a social network clone called Studivz and sold it for $100 million. Next the trio copied Groupon and created its German version and named it City Deal, which was later acquired by Groupon for $170 million dollars in just six months after its launch. And in 2014, the Samwer brothers took their holding company, Rocket Internet, public. It was valued at $8 billion which made Samwer brothers into billionaires.
