Russian scientists have discovered a fully-grown female mammoth that contains 10,000-year-old blood. During a university expedition on islands off the northern coast of Siberia, the team found the mammoth sealed under sheets of ice. To their shock, the blood and muscle tissue have been perfectly preserved.
