Questioning the existence of Bharat before pre-colonial times is an old game played by the Breaking India forces. They claim that India was nothing but a geographical mass and that the British morphed it into a nation state. This claim has been also made by Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan during an interview in which he said that, “ There was no concept of India before the British gave it.” There are also many “eminent” historians making such claims” for example Ramachandra Guha and Dr. Rakesh Batabyal which is very misleading!
