Discussion of Multiple Table Variable use in STORED PROCEDURES. Table variables are really powerful when you are trying to execute a rather sophisticated STORED PROCEDURE. They use the table variables locally which usually means better performance than a temp database paradigm. Table Variables are very different from Temp Tables and in some cases can be a better match.
