NETHILI VARUVAL RECIPE/NETHOLI FISH FRY
Ingredients
netholi/anchovi fish-20
shallots-5
garlic-6
ginger -medium sized
lemon juice-1 tbsp
curry leaves
turmeric powder-1/4 tsp
chilli powder-2tsp
pepper powder-1 tsp
corn flour-1 tbsp
rice flour-1tbsp
salt
oil for deep frying
This is a very simple fish fry which can be prepared very quickly by using few ingredients .Here i am preparing this fish fry in a typical south Indian style.First we need to clean the fish by rubbing it with some salt or some vinegar.This way we can get rid off raw smell of the fish .I always add a lot curry leaves while making fish fry which will give a nice flavor and smell of kerala fish fry .while using curry leaves in fish fry we can prevent the raw smell of the fish to some extend.This crispy fish fry we can have as a starter or as a side dish for rice and sambar.
