The USS Wisconsin is an Iowa-class battleship, USS Wisconsin (BB-64) was built at the Philadelphia Navy Yard, Pennsylvania, and was commissioned in April 1944. Reaching the Pacific to serve in combat, she served at the Philippines, Iwo Jima, Okinawa, and the final bombardments of the Japanese homelands.
