In November 2013, LiveConnections presented our "Rhythm Machines" Bridge Session, featuring Andrew Lipke on guitar, Lisa Vaupel on violin and Angela Zator Nelson on percussion. Created in partnership with The Philadelphia Orchestra, the session looks at rhythm in music and in our everyday lives, from the natural world to the workings of our bodies to the music we make.

Founded in 2008, LiveConnections creates innovative, boundary-crossing music programming and education. Our Bridge Sessions engage urban youth and special needs populations in interactive performances that explore diverse musical styles and cultures and spark learning that's hands-on and alive. LiveStudio, our newest initiative, uses video technology to connect underserved audiences with great music.
