PANTANETTI Berlin Mauer 1989 | 2014 is a small tribute to the city of Berlin in its 25th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall [November 9, 1989].
The work, directed by the photographer Eleonora Castelli is a fresh look of Berlin. A city that moves, evolves and rebirth; the European capital liberated and free from those old patterns that for 28 years [August 13 1961] have severed relations, freedom and love.
Through contemporary images, PANTANETTI want to remember how important this event has been for all of us and have a look to the new socio-cultural context in Berlin.
The project was developed in places where there is still evidence of the Wall as along the East Side Gallery; in some crowded areas and focal points of the city such as the Friedrichstraße Ostbahnhof, Alexanderplatz, along the river Spree in Berlin U-Bahn and in the beautiful location of the Arte Luise Kunsthotel where Pantanetti created the autumn-winter campaign.
