You are in many ways a little bit like a human puppet on the end of divine, invisible celestial strings that lead back to 27 fixed constellations that overlay the 12 divisions of the sun's zodiac signs in the sky.
These 27 constellations are known as the Nakshatras.
Everything you say/do/wear/love/hate/know/regret/desire/avoid is because of the particular Nakshatra working through your consciousness, allocated by the planet lying in this particular constellation at the very moment you took your first breath at birth.
Each constellation is presided over by deities who reflect archetypal characteristics and energies that can easily be detected in the world all around you when you have the right awareness to recognise and are looking with right eyes to see. I was introduced to the idea of observing these Nakshatra's energies in life all around us and my life has been an exciting pursuit of omens and the universe communicating in it's breathtakingly intelligent language and style. Here, I try to introduce some life and soul to this study and approach it from a more emotional and personal standpoint, so as to present a piece that will hopefully be informative and therapeutic, as like Vic DiCara teaches - there are life lessons to be learnt from every Nakshatra and they are rich with wisdom and advice for everybody's life experience.
Saving the best for last, getting increasingly intimately personal, I will walk you through the universe of Purva Bhadrapada. Introducing you to the most demonised and yet commonly misunderstood of all the 27 Nakshatras, I hope to enlighten you all to what has commonly misinterpreted by many who simply demonise and try to explain what is mostly near impossible to logically conceptualise due to the bizarre nature of it's deity - Aja Ekapada.
Because of its unrelenting intensity and incorrigible nature, Purva Bhadrapada has earned a reputation that I feel needs explaining! I'm going with this constellation first because it’s my most intimately familiar Nakshatra and I would like to bring some personal insight and offer support and a sense of understanding and solace to it's other natives - straight from the horses mouth! I feel I know it from the inside out and I feel it’s time to shed some light on that which up until now may have remained a "mystery" to many who don’t have it prominent in their birth chart, if at all!
