SEAT el-Born is a 2019 all-electric car concept from the Spanish car manufacturer SEAT. In this video you can see presentation of Seat el-Born at Geneva Motor Show 2019.
The Seat el-Born is a concept car, but it is planned to go into production in 2020. The el-Born is named after a neighbourhood in Barcelona.
The el-Born is based on the Volkswagen Group MEB platform and will be manufactured at the Zwickau plant in Germany alongside the Volkswagen ID which shares the same platform.
The el-Born is fitted with a 62kWh battery pack with a claimed 420 km (261.0 mi) range (WLTP). The car is powered by a 204 PS (150 kW; 201 bhp) electric motor, able to accelerate to 0-62mph in 7.5 seconds. The battery is compatible with 100kW DC supercharging and features a thermal management system.
