"No matter what side of the story you’re on it can be seen as a failure when a relationship comes to an end. I wanted this song to acknowledge the love and care in what was, instead of dwelling on what it wasn’t. I wrote this with Savannah Conley from Nashville who brought such beauty into the song."

Lyrics:
Seeing all that we have made
You know I wouldn’t change a thing
I’d already had the thoughts
I was making waves to let you know
By the time I made the call I was already feeling different
The light it drew you small looking in the rear view mirror
I needed to be bold
Cause I knew you didn’t know
That I was breaking
And that didn’t break you
But I want to celebrate
I couldn’t if I’d stayed
There was love in our mistakes
So let’s try to celebrate
It was written on the wall
But you were looking at the ceiling
I thought I’d tried to point it out
Thought I was making myself loud
Yeah I know I needed to be bold
Cause you, you didn’t know
That I was breaking
And I didn’t know how to tell
But I want to celebrate
We couldn’t find our way
There was love in our mistakes
So lets try
I wanna only see the good
Let’s try
I wanna only see the good
I want to celebrate
We couldn’t find our way
But there was love in our mistakes
So let’s try to celebrate
