At the start of this university semester, the Conservatorium's Big Choir (made up of students from undergraduate and postgraduate degrees - mainly non-vocal majors) started rehearsing one of the most incredible pieces of music every written - Mozart's Requiem. Of course the performance scheduled for May has had to be cancelled along with all other concerts in Australia and across the world - so we have moved our study of the Requiem to online. Our students have been learning their parts with teaching tracks at home and then recording themselves on their smart phones to add their voice and face to the Conservatorium's Virtual Choir. Expertly conducted by our Choir Director - Ms Elizabeth Scott.
