The year 2024 marks the 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and China. Mohammed Faisal Al Shehhi, a sophomore at the University of Michigan – Shanghai Jiao Tong University Joint Institute (UM-SJTU JI), was invited by the UAE Embassy in Beijing to share his experiences studying in China. With the support of his parents, Mohammed is thriving in his second year at JI, where he continues to expand his knowledge and personal growth.
