Tamil Nadu Governor RN Ravi reiterated his opposition on Saturday that he will not give clearance to the Anti-NEET bill (exemption). The Governor, returned The Tamil Nadu Admission to Undergraduate Medical Degree Courses Act, 2021 to the Assembly only to be sent back to him. He is of the opinion that achievements without the NEET exam are not enough for a medical students' future. The NEET Bill has been a contentious issue, since the common entrance test harms the prospects of state board students, who have to write a paper based on the CBSE syllabus.
