In this short video I'll show you the newest accessory I purchased for my Mavic Air 2 drone. In the Fly More Combo pack you do receive some Neutral Density (ND) filters, however there are times when those are not at the right strength to achieve my desired shutter speed at the lowest possible ISO. I recently found some VARIABLE ND filters that let me dial in the exact amount of ND effect depending on the available light and the shots I'm taking.
I typically master my video at 30fps so i want to keep my shutter speed in the drone at 1/60th of a second. To do that, especially in bright sunlight, I need an ND filter to block out some light. The Variable ND filters from PGYTech provide the best control to dial in the exact amount of ND effect to achieve the optimum shutter speed. And, the optical quality of this filter is fantastic and I haven't noticed any color shift from this filter.
