In this video I go over specifically the Pocket Pro+ ORP Tester and how it functions. It is pretty basic really since it only tests for one thing.

You will need a couple of accessories that fall into the Mad Scientist category ;).

To clean off the sensor after every use you will need some Deionized Water like this:

Basically the ORP sensor will stay calibrated as long as the sensor stays clean. You really don't need to calibrate an ORP sensor but you can if you use known ORP valued solutions. For instance a solution of 400 ORP - you can set the ORP Tester to 400 to match. BUt there is also a formula for temperature so still it won't be an exact match. It doesn't matter too much anyway because you are looking at trends and ranges and not an exact number. So if it is off slightly it won't make a huge difference in the reading.

This ORP tester is very good. The Pocket Pro+ comes with a one year warranty , a replaceable sensor and it is waterproof. I like the fact that it runs off of AAA batteries which makes things very easy.

A great addition to your water testing devices and kits and this will come in handy for those Commercial Accounts.
