The "Harvard Law School and Governing"" panel featured three former governors --William Weld ’70, the 68th governor of Massachusetts from 1991 to 1997 and the Libertarian Party's nominee for Vice President of the United States in the 2016 election; Michael Dukakis ’60, who served as the 65th and 67th governor of Massachusetts from 1975 to 1979 and 1983 to 1991, respectively; and Jennifer Granholm ’87, a two-term governor of Michigan 2003 to 2011. Their session, “Harvard Law School and Governing: A Conversation,” hosted by Harvard Law School Professor Ken Mack ’91, offered differing perspectives on state governing under law today.
