الصناعي كارلوس غصن هو رجل أعمال برازيلي فرنسي لبناني شغل منصب رئيس مجلس الإدارة والرئيس التنفيذي لشركتي نيسان اليابانية، ورينو الفرنسية، ورئيس مجلس الإدارة لشركة ميتسوبيشي موتورز حتى شهر أبريل من العام ٢٠١٩. بالإضافة إلى ذلك، شغل منصب رئيس مجلس إدارة والرئيس التنفيذي لتحالف رينو-نيسان-ميتسوبيشي (الشراكة الاستراتيجية لنيسان ورينو التي تمت بناء على اتفاقية مساهمة فريدة من نوعها). أدّى نجاح غصن إلى إنعاش الاقتصاد وزيادة أرباح رينو بعد قيامه بإعادة هيكلة جذرية للشركة في أواخر ١٩٩٠ وإنقاذ شركة نيسان من الإفلاس الموشك سنة ١٩٩٩.
استقال غصن من منصبه كرئيس تنفيذي لشركة نيسان وتمّ اعتقاله في مطار هانيدا في طوكيو في ١٩ نوفمبر ۲٠١۸، بسبب اتهامات حول عدم الإبلاغ عن أرباحه وإساءة استخدام أصول الشركة. وأثناء اعتقاله، دافع ريكاردو كرم عنه وعن حقوقه في محاكمة عادلة. وكانت هذه الحلقة ضمن مجموعة خطوات قام بها.

Carlos Ghosn, is a Brazilian-Lebanese-French businessman. He was the Chairman and CEO of France-based Renault, of Japan-based Nissan and Mitsubishi Motors until April 2019. Ghosn was also the Chairman and CEO of the Renault–Nissan–Mitsubishi Alliance, the strategic partnership overseeing Nissan, Mitsubishi, and Renault through a unique cross-shareholding agreement. After his radical restructuring of Renault and Nissan he was able to return profitability to the companies after being on the verge of bankruptcy.
Ghosn resigned from his position as CEO of Nissan and was arrested at Haneda Airport in Tokyo on November 19, 2018, over charges of underreporting his earnings and misusing the company's assets. During his arrest, Ricardo Karam defended him and his rights to a fair trial. This episode was part of a series of steps Karam took
