This video tutorial describes the “Remote Data” feature in the Brillians (SupraVISTA) application.
To review remote data, the VHA provides JLV - an excellent application. However, like CPRS, JLV provides little to no search capabilities.
Brillians provides easy-to-use mechanisms to download remote data from multiple VAMCs for the desired date-range, and search the combined data within seconds.
Brillians is a Cognitive Decision Support App designed to work with the VHA's VistA system. It plays nicely with CPRS.
Using automated data analysis, within seconds, Brillians automatically identifies the clinical issues which need clinician's attention. Therefore, it significantly reduces the risk of clinical errors, thus, enhances patient safety.
Further, Brillians includes many features which help the clinicians to be more efficient and more productive, while ensuring patient safety. This tutorial describes one such feature.
There are separate Brillians (SupraVISTA) tutorials on YouTube describing these features in detail. These features support many common tasks, which may take five to 10 minutes in CPRS, but can be completed within 5 to 10 seconds in Brillians.
Previously, Brillians was known as SupraVISTA. It is the SAME app, just a different name. Brillians is a mature App which is in use in the VHA, in live patient care settings, since 2005.
