Regarding the TSM 85 strike put open interest: it remained around 13,000. What does this mean?? There is another possibility which we didn't touch on in the video. Will try to briefly break it down here:
We're working with 12,000 contracts still:
Party A: originally short 12,000 contracts. Now short 2,000.
Party B: originally long 12,000 contracts. Still long 12,000.
New Party C: Now short 10,000 contracts, having assumed 10,000 of Party A's contracts.
