I'll forever be grateful to have this one in my collection. While "The Les Paul" is typically considered to be the cream of the crop when it comes to 70s Les Pauls - occasionally there are some hidden gems made for artists or trade shows exhibitions that can give them a run for their money. I've never seen a 1974 Les Paul Custom 20th Anniversary look this good EVER. The natural finish and awesome woodgrain and flame is a deadly awesome combination. Edit Oct 27 2023 - I've been messaged by someone who claims to have purchased one of these new! His also has the G in the control cavity and is in a natural off-set 2 piece flame maple top with 3-piece figured maple neck but his has the then-new Schaller M6 Style tuners. Time will tell if more of these surface! Serial 403391
