Busking a few verses of another wee cowboy ballad called the “Streets of Laredo” on the banjo and harmonica in beautiful Edinburgh, Scotland, on a cold winter’s night. This is one of my favourite cowboy ballads, which has a long history of being sung by both Scottish and American folk artists alike. Some of my favourite Scottish versions of this cowboy ballad are from Hamish Imlach and Alex Campbell and there are too many great American versions to list them all here.
