Day 42: Brian makes another attempt at the hand drill friction fire. At night, he converts his minnow trap into a crayfish trap and goes hunting for food and bait.
Join Bushman Brian and his dog, Roy on their two-month wilderness survival trip in Northern Ontario. Taking place in the backcountry of Temagami, the adventure is full of challenges, lessons and the beauty of nature.
In the quest to self-sustain and live off the land, I feed myself through foraging, fishing and hunting for food. I utilize bushcraft, backcountry camping and wilderness survival skills throughout the trip to help myself along.
The land provides a unique experience with beautiful landscapes, sunrises, sunsets and wildlife such as moose, eagles and the never-ending hordes of biting insects.
