These were a flagship radio back in 1981. This particular one is late production from 1983. These are a 12V 3.5W radio & offer one of the best ever ranges of any handportable. I have had 14 miles out of one.

Not shown on the video is the broken PCB around the aerial mount owing to drop damage. The telescopic aerial has now had to be glued into position using hot glue.
