Comfrey is one of the most valuable plants on our little homestead. If you aren’t familiar with this incredible plant it is time that I introduce you.
What is comfrey? Comfrey is a thick herbaceous perennial with deep roots. It can grow over 3 feet tall. It produces flowers beginning in late spring and continuing into fall. Comfrey produces large amounts of organic matter, builds soil, and can help conserve water. Comfrey is a medicinal powerhouse.
In this video, I will teach you everything you need to know in order to grow comfrey and we’ll explore some of the great ways that you can use comfrey to become more self-reliant.
