You are systematically auditing a process, using a step-by-step method that identifies the inputs to the process, the outputs of the process, and how the process interacts with other processes. You learn how to create a turtle diagram, and then we repeat the instruction for an incoming inspection process, and then for storing raw materials in your warehouse, and finally for the process of filling your car up with gas. You will learn how to create a report from your turtle diagram as well. This 7-step diagram is much simpler to teach new auditors than a regulatory checklist, and the process approach will ensure that you cover more clauses of the standard.
