This is what’s known as a “Hi Cube” shipping container. It’s roughly another foot higher, coming in at around 9 foot six inches high, but still 20 foot long. This height difference produces an increase from around 33cu metres to around 36cu metres of internal storage capacity.

You might think one foot higher doesn’t make much difference. Wrong! An average height person will struggle to extend their hand to touch the roof, unlike a standard height container unit.
