In this video, I’ve got a lumpy idle problem to resolve. I’m not entirely sure what it is, but I’ve got a reasonable idea that after 106,000 miles, the idle control valve might be a bit gummed up… besides, the clue is in the name, it’s an idle control valve! If cleaning that doesn’t help, I’ve got bigger problems

Basic hand tools and come EGR cleaner spray will help no end with this one because it’s just a basic stepper motor. My best guess is that there’s some carbon deposits that is stopping the stepper motor from doing its job.
