NSW Premier Dominic Perrottet says many people in flood-affected regions are at a “breaking point” as the state government announces additional financial aid.

“It has been event, after event, after event,” he said.

“I was in Camden just the other day and met Joe, who has had his restaurant go under three times in three events.”

He said people will continue to face “many challenges,” and the NSW government wants to ensure financial assistance gets out to people “as quickly as possible”.
