Lately, most of Canada's news coverage media work for the government. To be more specific, they are only displaying the news that the government wants.
However, it was not the same a decade ago. Everyone was unbiased and used to deliver whatever happened. But fast-forward to now, new coverage media, like CBC News, are funded by the government and are only displaying what they are allowed.
This resulted in a lot of missing news. For instance, the petition e-4701, which hits a record number of signatures in the history of Canada, was not reported by any news coverage media in Canada.
