Part One of a Three-Part series. NO MUSIC/NO CHATTER. Just engine noise that has been muted a bit so as not to make it irritating.

In this trip, we leave a downrange desert training site in southern Idaho and head south to the stark but beautiful desert landscape of the Owyhee region. Come along and see desert, mountains, and eventually the Owyhee Reservoir (in Part Three).

If you saw the first "Idaho Overflight" series, we went north over the Rockies, with background music. This time we go south and there's no music, just enjoy being in the helicopter with your thoughts as we watch Idaho unfold below us.
