"Coney Island been this great rich place with so much legacy and emotions and memories for all. Not just New Yorkers, but Americans in order to be an iconic place. We really started the rebirth of Coney Island with Luna Park in 2010. And every year we've been improving. You know, we've been expanding. Actually, we are coming here in 2022 with the largest expansion. We're going to add not one, not two, but three major attractions. And we'll expand the footprint of the park by more than five acres."

And the latest treasure, the flume ride, is actually paying homage to 'Shoot The Chutes,' again, another, you know, iconic ride in Coney Island, back in the 19th century."

STORYLINE:
Coney Island is getting a face lift, well kinda. The iconic beachfront community is actually getting three new rides and pedestrian plazas on five acres along the boardwalk. The new attractions are part of an expansion by Luna Park, the home of the legendary Cyclone roller coaster.
