Tommy and Jessica were married at the First United Methodist Church in Tulsa, OK and every moment of their wedding day was perfect. They were so happy and anxious while they got ready in their rooms at The Mayo Hotel. Jessica’s sister helped her with some finishing touches as they listened to music and drank champagne. Tommy relaxed with his parents and groomsmen upstairs. Before they left for the church, Jessica shared a very special moment with her dad when he saw her for the first time that day. The room filled with tears and laughter over the next few minutes. Jessica then gave her dad the cutest photo collage that read, “Today a bride, tomorrow a wife, forever your little girl.” We love filming father-daughter first looks because we get to witness the true friendship that has developed between them over the years.
After taking a few photos, Jessica and the girls made their way to the church where Jessica prepared for the first look. Just outside the church, Tommy waited anxiously. He was amazed when he turned around to see her standing there. He was so in love with her gorgeous princess-cut dress! They were the best of friends, and we could see it clearly in that moment. Just a couple hours later, the ceremony began. The pastor, a close family friend, did a wonderful job and spoke the most beautiful words about Tommy and Jessica. The ceremony was very emotional at times, but he lightened up the mood by cracking a few jokes every now and then. After they exchanged vows, the newlyweds jumped on the trolly to head to the reception at The Sky Loft just down the road. They celebrated for hours while they danced with glow sticks and confetti canons. We had so much fun capturing these moments, and we will always remember Tommy and Jessica’s special day.
