By: Robert PriceNeighbors on the West Side are feeling little less in the dark. Less than twenty-four hours after we told you about broken street lights along the West Commerce bridge, CPS Energy says all the lights have been fixed. Crews spent Tuesday afternoon replacing a poll and transformer thought to be damaged during a car accident. The lights should be on and people should feel a little safer, said Christine Patmon of CPS Energy. And hopefully the people who are in that area will help the lights stay on, so that they can continue to feel that they have some illumination in that area and can walk and drive and bike or whatever they want to do in that area safely.CPS Energy says the area near West Commerce Street and North Frio has an ongoing problem with people shooting out street lights to give them more privacy for illegal activity.
