Thai police investigators discovered four tigers kept in small cages on a private property in northwest Thailand.
Police suspect the location may have been a slaughterhouse, where tigers were killed before their remains were sold and smuggled abroad - but the owner says he legally registered the animals last year. Now, government officers are investigating dozens of other zoos and animal attractions.
