I created a test project on Github ([ Ссылка ]) for an e-drum trigger algorithm. The video shows the performance of the trigger algorithm which also supports positional sensing. The single pizeo (mono) signal from the Roland PD-120 trigger pad is recorded with a standard sound card and imported into Octave. All signal processing is done in Octave. After processing the entire signal, the resulting trigger information is converted into MIDI signals and fed into my Roland TDW-20 e-drum module. Then I recorded the audio signal from the TDW-20 and inserted that audio track into the video of my playing on the pad so that both are synchronized.
As you can hear, the triggering and positional sensing works great even though I have not yet spend a lot of time on fine-tuning the algorithms.
