This the KMZ K750 petrol tank all finished in graphite grey gloss. 3 x military grey undercoat & 3 x graphite gloss.

The best way I found to paint a petrol tank by hand is to use a good long bristle brush and plenty of decorating soft sponge rollers. Just keep working the paint, and make sure you use the paint up on the ends of the rollers, and try to use the centre of the rollers.

It does help that all petrol tanks are curved, so with a bit of practice you will get the hang of using the centre of the roller and not leave end of roller lines in you paint work.
