SINGER VISITS TROOPS IN BAGHDAD
American country and western singer Chely Wright paid a visit on Saturday to the Ibn Sina Hospital in Baghdad.
Wright spoke with injured American soldiers and had her picture taken with American military personnel.
Wright is on a visit to Iraq and Kuwait with her band to boost troops' morale with some musical entertainment.
The visit was organised by "Stars for Stripes" -- a non profit group committed to providing quality entertainment to deployed troops -- particularly those in remote outposts.
Ibn Sina hospital is located inside the green zone housing the American embassy and Iraqi government compound.
