Todays quick video is how to remove a axle shaft from a D44 this will and can work on both a TJ and a JKU. This video was filmed on a 2014 Jeep jku with a d44 that had disc brakes. Pulling the axle is straight forward but there is a bit labour involved. You may want to do this if your rebuilding the rear end, removing the carrier, or replacing the axle seals or bearings.
