If you've been on Highway 544 and driven past Brooks Stadium at Coastal Carolina University recently, you might have noticed hundreds of pink ribbons tied to the railings. That's part of an effort that started eight years ago, with the President's office teaming up with Athletics to commemorate Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Each of the ribbons carries a name of someone, with a connection to Teal Nation, who has been impacted by breast cancer. Sorority Gamma Phi Beta played a key role in the project this year.
