India Today has exposed a digital fraud operation based in Cambodia, where Indians are lured with dubious job offers to participate in scams. The operation, which appears to be a legitimate call centre, is involved in scamming fellow Indians. The video footage, obtained from a victim's mobile phone, reveals a seemingly positive working environment. The operation is suspected to have links to foreign scamsters and has reportedly laundered over 2,000 crore rupees in the past 10 months. The Indian government is reportedly taking action against this digital fraud.
